The Ibn Arabi International Film Festival IBAFF is an initiative of the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Puertas de Castilla. It was created in 2010 and its name is inspired by the figure of the great Sufi thinker Ibn Arabi, who was a philosopher, poet, and traveller born in Murcia in the XII Century.

By means of its different sections, the IBAFF festival wants to show the contradictions and paradoxes of the Contemporary Film Practice; besides, it is an annual event functioning as a place to meet and debate so as to promote cinema with the energy of its vanguard.

The 8th edition of IBAFF will take place in Murcia from 2 to 10 March 2018.
